My Business Genie Ltd, trading as The Genie, acts as a ‘data controller’ under UK GDPR and are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), registration number: ZA841098. 

We do not sell your data, we do not trade in your trust. We hold your personal information with the same way we hold everything in this grid – with care, clarity and with your sovereignty at the centre.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY 

We collect only what we need to serve you well. Nothing more. 

When you engage with us we may collect: 

  • Your name and contact details - email address and telephone number

  • Date of birth, time of birth and place of birth - where provided for frequency and Human Design work

  • Your IP address - collected automatically when you visit the website

  • Cookie data - please refer to our Cookie Policy for full details

  • Address and payment details - when you purchase a product or service 

Please note: payment details are processed securely through Stripe and are never stored by us directly. Please refer to Stripe’s privacy policy for further information. Where invoices are issued, banking details may be retained by our banking partner Monzo and accounting system Xero. 

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION 

We use your personal information to: 

  • Respond to your enquiry and fulfil your request

  • Deliver the product or service you have invested in

  • Send updates, insights and transmissions you have requested

  • Understand what our community needs so we can serve it better

  • We believe in sovereign choice and conscious communication. If you agree to receive updates from us, we will only send content that is in alignment with what you asked for. WHO MIGHT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION BE PROVIDED TO?

We only share your personal information with trusted partners where it is necessary to fulfil our commitment to you. Every partner is carefully selected and held to the same standard of integrity we operate from. Where a product or service is delivered in joint venture with another business, we will always make clear who your data is shared with. You should refer to their privacy policy to understand how they process your information. 

Our current trusted partners are: 

  • Mailerlite - email list management and updates

  • Stripe - secure payment processing

  • Squarespace - website hosting and ecommerce

  • Calendly - appointment scheduling

  • Google Docs / Dropbox - secure document transfer and storage

  • Asana - project and work management

  • Notion - access to downloadable products

  • Amazon - fulfilment of physical book purchases

  • Skool – provider of the Library – by subscribing to the library, you will need to sign up to Skool and they will utilise your personal information in accordance to their privacy policy.

  • Substack - email subscription management. By subscribing you consent to Substack storing and processing your information in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

  • We do not share your data outside of this service. Whilst we prioritise UK and EU compliant providers, some services may process data in other jurisdictions. Where international transfers occur, we ensure all partners adhere to equivalent data protection standards so your information remains safeguarded under recognised legal frameworks. 

AI AND YOUR DATA 

Your personal information is a frequency. It carries your energy, your blueprint, your story. Treat it accordingly. 

Most people don't realise how much can be sourced from even the most basic personal details - your name, your birthdate, your location. In the wrong hands or the wrong systems, this information becomes something far beyond what you consciously shared. We want you to be aware of this - not from fear, but from sovereignty. 

My Business Genie integrates AI-driven tools to enhance compliance, business strategy, and operational efficiency. However, no personal information is ever uploaded into AI systems by us. Any AI-generated insights related to compliance, risk, or strategic guidance are reviewed, validated, and interpreted by experienced professionals before being provided to you. 

We also encourage you to hold this awareness in your own interactions - with us and beyond. Before sharing personal information with any system, platform, or provider, ask yourself:

Do I know where this goes? Do I know what it becomes? 

Your data is yours. Your frequency is yours. Guard both with the same sovereignty you bring to everything else. 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION 

Your personal information is stored using standard encryption and information security protocols appropriate for our business. It is accessible only to those authorised to access it and only within our approved locations. Where your information is transmitted to trusted partners, appropriate security measures are in place to ensure it is not intercepted. WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS HELD 

All personal information submitted via our website or opt-in forms is received by members of My Business Genie Ltd. All data is retained in the UK. Where occasional operational requirements mean data is transferred outside the UK, the same degree of protection applies as if it were stored and used within the UK, regulated in line with UK law. 

HOW LONG HOLD YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 

Your personal information will be retained for as long as necessary in line with the legal reasons for utilising this information. When your information is no longer required it will be securely deleted from our records and any 3rd parties. Further information in relation to long your personal information will be retained for is available upon request. 

YOUR RIGHTS - SOVEREIGN OWNERSHIP OF YOUR DATA

You hold sovereign ownership over your personal information.

These are your rights and we honour every one of them:

  • •       Right to be informed - you have the right to know what information we hold about you.

  • •       Right to access - you may request a copy of the information we hold. Please contact us in writing with the subject line ‘Subject Access Request’. We will respond within one month and will verify your identity before releasing any information for your security.

  • •       Right to rectification - if you believe any information we hold is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected. We aim to complete this within one month.

  • •       Right to erasure - also known as the right to be forgotten. In specific circumstances you have the right to request deletion of your personal information. Where we have a legal obligation to retain it we will inform you clearly.

  • •       Right to object - you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by unsubscribing, or by writing, calling or emailing us at wishes@mybusinessgenie.co.uk.

We honour your right to control your digital footprint and will act on all requests in alignment with ethical and legal guidelines. If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, we welcome open dialogue. Your trust is not taken lightly.
