The Money Pendulum In Action
I never thought I’d say yes to something most people would call a pyramid scheme…… But I did.
Not because I was looking for a new business.
Not because I wanted to recruit people.
I did it for two very ordinary reasons:
I thought it might help some people save or earn a little more money - using something familiar to them that could ripple out to others.
My daughter’s dance college needed funding.
I thought I was saying yes for them.
But what I didn’t realise was that I was saying yes to being shown what I had been doing all along - I just couldn’t see it.
What looked like bills and cashback cards turned into one of the clearest lessons I’ve ever received about energy, money, and worthiness.
The Energy Behind the Contract
When I look back, I realise my work has always been about energy.
When I reviewed policies, I didn’t just read the words. I felt the truth - or the distortion - behind them.
When people showed me websites with pretty designs and tick-box policies, I could sense whether they were energetically aligned or just surface gloss.
When someone told me they were “compliant,” I knew instantly whether it was authentic or energetic bullshit.
I thought this was normal.
I thought everyone saw through the shiny words and polished façades.
But UW (Universal Wealth, as I like to call it) showed me: this is my gift.
Why We Trust Corporations More Than Friends
The deeper lesson came when I watched how people reacted.
People will happily hand over money to corporations every month, complain about the profits that some unknown individual has received and never question the legitimacy.
But if a friend offers them a way to save or earn? Suspicion. Resistance. Judgment.
“What’s in it for you?”
“As if I’m being ripped off…”
It isn’t really about the utility.
It’s about worthiness and trust.
Sometimes it feels safer to trust a faceless corporation than to witness a friend’s success.
The Nervous System of Money
Every price rise jolts the nervous system.
Funny how it always seems to happen before Christmas — when we’re already worrying the cost of the presents or heating the home over the cold months.
Fear. Panic. Collapse.
The fear keeps us in line. The pendulum swings.
But this experiment showed me something else: money is nervous system regulation.
The real “product” isn’t cheaper bills.
It’s the pause. The breath. The reminder that you don’t have to swing with the pendulum.
When you calm the nervous system, you see new pathways.
You can choose differently.
You can step out of the swing.
When the Hairdryer Blows
The metaphor that landed for me:
Plug too many appliances into one socket → the fuse blows.
The same thing happens with money.
People overload their nervous system with fear, scarcity, and control - and then wonder why everything shorts out.
Or worse: they try to save or earn more with a nervous system that doesn’t feel safe in receiving.
We forget: we are walking transmitters.
Most of us are running with a dodgy reception.
But when you plug into the right frequency, the whole system flows.
Intention Is Everything
So is this model good? Bad?
Neither.
If my intention had been to rip people off, that would be distortion.
But my intention was simple:
Support people.
Enable my daughter to follow her dreams without having to say “we can’t afford it.”
Hold a field where people could see another pathway.
And what I witnessed was powerful:
People opening their minds.
Not because of the product.
But because they gave themselves permission to receive differently.
Intention is everything.
Yes, It’s a Pyramid Scheme
Let’s name it.
Yes, it’s a pyramid scheme…. but let’s be clear so is every corporation.
They’ve just inverted the pyramid, polished it, and sold us the illusion of respectability.
The shape doesn’t matter.
The energy flowing through it does.
People Quit Too Soon
Most people join, hear a few “no’s,” and quit.
They say it doesn’t work, it’s not as easy as people make it out to be (well life is easy as we perceive it to be but that is for another day).
But what I saw was different.
It wasn’t that the model didn’t work.
It was that their nervous system couldn’t hold it.
Rejection. Fear of being seen. Fear of not being worthy.
They weren’t quitting the model.
They were quitting themselves.
It was easier to be comfortable and to receive in a traditional way, and moan occasionally when life got a bit too stressful again..
The Gateway, Not the Destination
For some, this was just a way to save money.
For others, it opened doors.
For me, it was never the destination.
It was the gateway.
The mirror that showed me my genius.
That I’ve always been reading energy - in contracts, in compliance, in conversations, in business.
And that this is the real work I came here to do.
The Bigger Work: The Money Pendulum
This is why I’m restarting the Money Pendulum experiment.
Because stopping the swing is the first step.
But learning to plug into the right frequency?
That’s when everything shifts.
This was never about utilities.
It was about seeing money, energy, and worthiness through a new lens.
It was about realising the pendulum only has power if you let it swing you.
The full arc will flow into my book Worthy and expand further in Quantum GRC.
But the lessons start here:
✨ Intention is everything.
✨ You are a transmitter.
✨ There is always another way.
So yes, I said yes to something that looked like a pyramid scheme.
But what it really did was show me the truth I’d been living all along.
I don’t work with utilities.
I work with energy.
And that’s the real wealth.
